Booking Terms & Conditions

To avoid any confusion or disappointment we recommend that you read the following information.

Our booking and cancellation policies may vary depending on the dates of your reservation and who you made your reservation through. Please refer to our Policy below for changing or cancelling your reservations:

1. Booking Amendment and Cancellation Policy for reservations made directly with our office or online on our website (other than for Groups**):
If you need to cancel your reservation outside 28 days of the date of the commencement your stay, a $30 administration fee will apply. Our office will refund your deposit (less the $30 administration fee) the day the cancellation is made. However, it may take additional time for your bank to deposit these funds into your bank account.If you need to cancel your reservation within 28 days of the date of the commencement your stay, unfortunately you will forfeit your deposit.

2. Reservations booked through any Online Travel Agency (OTA), e.g. Booking.com or Expedia.com or their subsidiary companies:
For cancellations, please contact the OTA through which you made your reservation. Changes can be made to your reservation in accordance with the Alex Beach Cabins and Tourist Park Cancellation policy, however please note we have a No Refund policy for OTA reservations.

3. Covid-19 Cancellations Policy

  • If the LGA in which Alex Beach Cabins & Tourist Park resides is forced into a lockdown where you can only leave home for essential reasons and your arrival date is in the time frame the government has forced the lockdown, you will receive a full refund.
  • If the LGA in which Alex Beach Cabins & Tourist Park resides is not in a lockdown and is able to operate as normal, our standard cancellation policies apply
  • If the LGA in which Alex Beach Cabins & Tourist Park resides is not in lockdown and is still able to operate as normal, however, there are still some health precautionary measures in place, our standard cancellation policies apply.

Changes to reservations made after Check-in:

Refunds will not be available if you reduce your length of stay or change your mind about staying with us due to bad weather. If you have a family emergency or medical emergency, we will offer a credit for your reservation if we are able to resell the accommodation site. Please do not be offended if our Staff ask you for proof of the medical emergency.
